NEWS: The planning is now online

After these complicated two years due to the worldwide pandemic situation of COVID, which forced us to postpone and cancel GreenCat 2020, we are more than happy to welcome you to Rennes for the GreenCat2022!

The symposium will be held face-to-face only from Tuesday, April 19 at 1:30 pm to Friday, April 22 at 2:00 pm.

The program has been modified, and a new procedure for the selection of oral communications is starting.

Don't hesitate to submit a new abstract.

Dear participant,

Welcome to Rennes in April 2022 for the International Green Catalysis Symposium & Advanced School.

The 4th edition of this conference aims to bring scientists from the whole world to share their recent discoveries on sustainable catalysis arising from molecular metal complexes, including their heterogeneous applications. Clean processes leading to complex molecules and molecular materials; biomass transformations into useful industrial intermediates; polymerization catalysts and biodegradable polymers; catalysts for energy economy or energy generation will be presented.

The art of organometallic catalysis lies at the heart of this conference. Its impact on life sciences and material sciences will also be prominently featured.

GreenCat Symposium 2022 will highlight modern trends in:

  • Organometallic Catalysts

  • Step Economic Synthesis

  • Transition Metal Catalyzed Clean Processes

  • Design of Novel Sustainable Methodologies

  • Valorization of Biomass

  • Catalysts for Polymer Chemistry

The conference is suited for chemists from both academia and industry. PhD students, postdocs and young researchers will have opportunities to plan their future career and prospect new positions by exchanging and discussing with senior scientists. Besides invited lectures, there will be 30 slots for oral communications and space available for 200 posters.

A rich social program will ensure numerous opportunities for networking.

GreenCat Symposium 2022 will take place on the Beaulieu campus of the Université de Rennes 1.  The conference site is at walking distance from the historical sites of Rennes and less than 1 hour to famous touristic places like Mont Saint-Michel, Saint-Malo, Cancale...
